iOS / iPad — Add to Home Screen

Compatible with iPhone and iPad. Set up using Safari browser.

⚠️ You must use Safari. Chrome and other browsers do not support the "Add to Home Screen" feature on iOS.

1 Step 1

Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad

Make sure you are using Safari (orange compass icon), not Chrome or any other browser.

2 Step 2

Go to shop.chefhk.com

Type shop.chefhk.com into the Safari address bar and open it. Wait for the page to fully load.

3 Step 3

Tap the Share button

Tap the Share icon (square with an upward arrow ⬆️) in the centre of the Safari bottom toolbar.

4 Step 4

Tap "Add to Home Screen"

Scroll down in the share sheet and tap "Add to Home Screen".

5 Step 5

Confirm the name and tap "Add"

You can rename the shortcut (we recommend keeping "ChefHK"), then tap "Add" in the top-right corner.

6 Done!

ChefHK is now on your Home Screen

Find the ChefHK icon on your home screen. Tap it to open the system instantly — just like a native app.

Android — Installation Guide

Two options available: Add to home screen (no install needed) or download the APK.

Recommended

Option 1: Add to Home Screen via Chrome (Recommended)

Open shop.chefhk.com in Chrome, tap the "⋮" menu in the top-right, then tap "Add to Home screen". No installation required.

Download the APK installer directly to your Android device. Before installing, allow "Unknown sources" in your device settings.

Internet Connection Required

ChefHK is a cloud-based system. You need WiFi or mobile data to use it.

Dedicated Device Recommended

For the best experience, use a dedicated iPad or tablet that stays powered on at all times.

Multi-Device Login Supported

One account can be used on multiple devices simultaneously — ideal for cashier, kitchen, and bar stations.

Browser Updates May Affect Display

If you experience display issues, try clearing your browser cache or re-adding the shortcut to your home screen.
